Tell me more about the 3 new R’s

We did not invent the new 3 R’s. Anyone observing the growing positive trends in society will see that they are emerging naturally from grassroots.

Rewild
Rewilding is true ecological restoration. It’s not about using limited human management techniques, but about truly letting nature do its thing. If you believe in creation, then it’s to let what God put in place do its thing. If you believe in evolution, it’s to let the inherent wisdom of nature, which we evolved out of, do its thing. It’s about letting be.

Regenerate
Everything in nature, from bacteria to human cells, is regenerative, restorative and renewable. Regeneration is what makes life resilient. In most human endeavours, including farming, we place very little attention on this and suffer the resulting consequences. Nature purifies, nature cleanses and nature regenerates. Just consider for a moment if you were to cut your hand and record its healing. Then a few weeks later suppose you played that recording in fast motion. Wow! Amazing! This is regeneration.

Return
Return is a principle of nature and is the backbone of everything we do at Happify Earth. Nurture one orange seed that you placed in the ground, and what emerges from it is a tree that for decades will return hundreds of oranges annually, each containing seeds that in turn can result in more orange trees.
The principle of Return is also extended to everyone that participates in Happify Earth proportionate to their contribution.

How are funds used?

USE OF FUNDS

35% Initial planting of mangrove forest trees, with plans for " food trees and other Hi-Nature investments"

34% Return to participants (includes promotional payments and commissions to people who participate in the expansion of Happify Earth)

21% Operational expenses (inclusive of employee wages & technology costs)
10% Taxes (Australian goods and services tax)

100% total

Who plants the mangrove trees?

The rewilding aspect at Happify Earth is to help restore and replant vital ecosystems throughout the world.
We are proud to be collaborating with Arne Fjørtoft and his team at the Worldview International Foundation in planting the Happify Mangrove Forest.

How do trees grow in value and what does “Return” mean?

Using the mangrove tree in its natural environment as an example, over a 20-year period it will sequence in the vicinity of one tonne of carbon in the form of carbon dioxide.
In Australia, the current value of one tonne is approximately $40*. This is a growth in value higher than most property prices around the world.
For every tree you purchase, you receive 1 point. That point can be converted to buy organic products, or when we sell the carbon, you can opt to redeem your points for cash in proportion to their value.

*It is important here to note our position on carbon offsetting. Simply put, it’s a practice that can be beneficial if used as a transition mechanism, or it can be abused if it becomes a means to continue business as usual.

As of this writing, the price of one metric tonne of carbon in the US is over US$40 and in Europe it is over €100. While there are many predictions about the price of carbon over the next decade, many people estimate it may reach approximately US$300 a tonne.

When will Happify Earth begin regenerative farming?

Our plan is that when 1,000 people in a specific region have joined us at Happify Earth, this will signal that it is time to begin a Happify regenerative farm in that area.

Does Happify Earth have an affiliate program?

Absolutely. What better way to expand than to work directly with people who are passionate about what we do?
